Young holidaymaker drops dead in Ibiza nightclub
Police suspect the 20-year-old man may have died of a drug overdose

A 20-year-old Italian man died in the early hours of Monday morning, May 19, at a nightclub in the party hotspot of Sant Antoni in Ibiza.
According to the Guardia Civil, the young tourist began feeling unwell while on a night out and was treated by the local medical services. However, his condition continued to deteriorate and an ambulance was called. Tragically, the young man had already passed away by the time paramedics arrived.
Although a post-mortem still needs to be carried out to determine the cause of death, at the moment Guardia Civil sources believe the tourist could have suffered a drug overdose.
Earlier this month, an 18-year-old British boy fell from a third-floor apartment in the same Mallorca resort. The teenager suffered multiple serious injuries and is in a critical condition.
