Murcia weather forecast October 12-15: Sunshine returns as temperatures reach 30°C

Much of the Region can expect sunshine and highs close to 30°C before cloud and the chance of rain increase later in the week

Weather outlook on Thursday October 15

The Region of Murcia is set for a warm and largely sunny start to the week, with temperatures climbing towards 30°C in some areas. The weather is expected to become more unsettled from Wednesday, however, with cloud increasing and the possibility of showers in parts of the Region.

Monday October 12

Plenty of sunshine is forecast across the Region, with only a few high clouds expected. AEMET predicts highs of 30°C in Murcia city, 29°C in Lorca, 28°C in Cartagena and 27°C in both Caravaca de la Cruz and Yecla. Winds should remain generally light, with coastal breezes.

Tuesday October 13

The warm, settled conditions are expected to continue, with sunny spells across coastal and inland areas. Murcia city and Cartagena are forecast to reach around 28°C, while Lorca could see 28°C and Caravaca de la Cruz around 27°C. Rain is unlikely to be a significant concern for most of the Region.

Wednesday October 14

Cloud is expected to increase, particularly around the coast and in parts of the south-west. AEMET's forecast suggests the chance of rain will rise in areas including Cartagena and Lorca, although conditions may remain dry for much of the day. Temperatures are likely to ease slightly, with highs of around 25°C in Lorca and 27°C in Cartagena.

Thursday October 15

The more changeable pattern could continue, with cloudy intervals and a chance of showers in some areas. The outlook is less certain than at the start of the week, so local forecasts are worth checking before making outdoor plans. Temperatures should remain mild for October, even if sunshine becomes less consistent.

Overall, the Region can look forward to a bright and warm start to the week, although the second half may bring more cloud and a chance of rain.
