December 21 Costa Cálida Cruisers MCC Christmas motorcycle ride in Camposol
A Christmas charity motorbike ride with proceeds going to M.A.D Mazarrón
The Costa Cálida Cruisers charity Christmas ride will take place on Sunday December 21 at 10.30am. The festive bikers will meet at the Rendezvous Café on Camposol before setting off at about 11.00am.
The route will take the bikers through El Paretón to Totana, they will then head to Alhama de Murcia before they arrive back at the Rendezvous Café.
If you want to take part the fee is €5, which is payable on arrival. All the proceeds will go to their chosen charity, M.A.D. Mazarrón Charity, a lovely charity that supports people in need. They provide essentials like food, clothing, bedding and much more.
To make the Christmas Ride even more fun, there will be a cash prize for the best-decorated bike! So join the ride and get festive, it’s all for a good cause.

MAD, making a difference in the community.
MAD support anyone who needs help, regardless of race or religion and dedicate themselves to supplying aid to some of the most needy within the community, food aid, clothing and basic bedding being just some of the items given to those who really do need help.
They are always on the lookout for volunteers to help in the shop, with fundraising activities, delivering goods or in active voluntary work, so if you can help in any way at all, even if it´s just an hour a week, please contact the team.
The shop in Puerto de Mazarrón sells a full range of second hand clothing, furniture, books, bedding, shoes and bric-a-brac, with all money raised going to help those locally in need.
Donations can be taken directly to Christine in the Port shop DURING OPENING HOURS (sadly if people leave them outside the shop when it is closed, it cannot guaranteed that they will still be there when volunteer staff arrive, so it is strongly advised not to leave items outwith opening times.)
Donations can also be taken to the van situated on Camposol on Tuesday mornings from 10.30-12.30am (in the Sector A car park outside Cat's bar and Luz del Sol) or collection can be arranged by calling Graham the vanman. (If people are looking for the van on Tuesday and it is not there, it is advisable to ring Graham as he may be on his way from collecting items from nearby.)
