Christmas week brings cooler days and some rain: Alicante weather forecast December 22-28
Christmas week in Alicante brings lower temperatures, a mix of sun and cloud, plus rain at times, especially later in the week

Alicante heads into Christmas week with a mix of bright days, chilly nights and some unsettled weather, especially in the north of the province. While there will be some nice sunny spells, the overall temperatures will be lower with changeable conditions and rain returning at times.
Monday December 22

Monday starts off mostly clear, with plenty of sunshine across much of Alicante province. Cloud will increase later in the day, but it should stay dry. Temperatures drop, and inland areas may have seen light frost early on. Winds pick up from the west and could be gusty in exposed inland spots, making it feel colder than recent days.
Tuesday December 23

Tuesday brings a mix of cloud and brighter spells. A few light, scattered showers can’t be ruled out, though many areas will stay dry. Snow levels rise through the day, remaining well above most populated areas. Temperatures will rise slightly or stay much the same, with patchy frost still possible inland during the early hours.
Wednesday December 24 - Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve looks like it will be mostly cloudy, with the chance of some light, patchy rain, especially inland and at higher ground. Any snowfall would be limited to higher areas well away from the coast. Temperatures change little overall, though inland areas may feel slightly milder during the day. Winds stay light, with a gentle westerly breeze.
Thursday December 25 - Christmas Day

Christmas Day will feel quite different across Alicante. The south of the province stays brighter, while cloud cover will increase elsewhere. Some light rain is possible later in the day, particularly along the northern coast of Alicante. Temperatures hold steady in the south but dip slightly in other areas. Inland spots may see early frost, while winds remain mostly light.
Friday December 26 - Boxing Day

Friday sees the unsettled weather shifting north. The northern part of Alicante province may be affected by rain and stormier weather, while the south is likely to stay drier with sunny spells and some cloud. Temperatures stay on the cool side, with chilly mornings and modest daytime highs.
Saturday December 27

There’s still a chance of rain on Saturday, again mainly affecting the north of the province, while southern areas should enjoy a largely dry day with sunshine breaking through at times. Temperatures rise a little, though a breeze may make it feel cooler, especially along the coast.
Sunday December 28

Sunday looks more unsettled again, with rain possible across much of the province throughout the day. Temperatures remain similar to Saturday, but with lighter winds it should feel less raw. A grey, damp end to the Christmas week looks likely.
Minimum and maximum temperatures in Alicante province:
- Monday December 22: Min 4°C, Max 15°C
- Tuesday December 23: Min 5°C, Max 15°C
- Wednesday December 24: Min 5°C, Max 16°C
- Thursday December 25: Min 6°C, Max 16°C
- Friday December 26: Min 5°C, Max 15°C
- Saturday December 27: Min 7°C, Max 17°C
- Sunday December 28: Min 7°C, Max 17°C
It may not be the mildest Christmas week we’ve had but at least it will feel a bit more like Christmas. So wrap up warm, plan some nice, fresh walks around the weather and enjoy some cosy evenings eating cheese, chocolate and leftovers.
