Warm, dry September set to continue: Alicante weekend weather forecast September 18-21
Despite possible showers on Sunday, cooler temperatures coming to the rest of Spain are not likely to reach the south-east yet
Warmer than usual temperatures are predicted to persist through this weekend and into next week in Alicante province, with the only predicted precipitation being a few scattered showers on Sunday, according to state meteorological agency Aemet.
The coast remains humid from predominantly easterly breezes, which have kept the much higher temperatures further west from affecting Alicante.
Thursday, September 18
Mostly clear skies today
There are mostly clear skies across the province this morning and although some low cloud may appear over the coast in the evening, elsewhere there should only be a few scattered clouds.
It is expected to become overcast along the coast during the night, with the possibility of some drizzle on the far northern coast after midnight.
Temperatures remain unchanged from yesterday and the winds should be variable or calm in the morning, and from the east in the central hours of the day.
