A Christian Charity founded in 2013
Swap Tears for Smiles is based in the Mazarrón area of the Murcia Region, providing assistance for those in need in Mazarrón and the surrounding area.
The Charity helps anyone of any creed, race or colour. In this world today there is enough food, enough houses and enough clothes that no one should be hungry, no one should be homeless and no one should be walking around in rags.
Swap Tears for Smiles was founded in 2013 by Arthur and Marge Laws, a Christian couple who have lived in Spain for 10 years. They both come from a legal background in the UK and were heavily involved in charities supporting victims of domestic violence.
Swap Tears for Smiles has the full support of their church, The Olive Branch Christian Fellowship in Camposol.
If you feel you are able to help either volunteering, fundraising, visiting families or sourcing food, please contact Arthur or Marge.
They always need non perishable food stuffs such as rice, beans, pasta, oil, sugar or hygiene products such as shampoo, soap, toothpaste etc. Again please contact Arthur or Marge who can provide full details on where donations can be taken.
Swap Tears for Smiles have a table top sale every second Friday on Camposol outside Kwiksave from 10am to 12.30 and always require items to sell.
