Apart from a very cloudy Saturday, the next few days look like they will have quite a bit of sunshine around Alicante province.
Today and Sunday will be the hottest days while the minimums will be warmest tonight and a bit cooler after that.
Thursday, September 4
Temperatures this afternoon
Mostly clear skies with not much cloud and temperatures either higher than or unchanged from yesterday, around 30ºC on the coast but rising steeply not far inland to between 34 and 36ºC.
Minimum temperatures will be a bit warmer, around 23ºC on the coast, dropping gradually moving further inland.
Light and variable winds in the morning, with a tendency to be from the south and south-east in the afternoon, with moderately intense intervals on the coast.
Friday, September 5
The skies on Friday afternoon
Not many clouds for most of the day but some intervals of low cloud for the first and last few hours.
Minimum temperatures are set to go back up or remain unchanged, around 21ºC in the south and 23ºC in the north but 19ºC inland, while maximums should drop noticeably to 29-30ºC in most areas.
The wind will be easterly, moderate on the coast and light with moderate intervals inland.
Saturday, September 6
A very cloudy start to the day
Low clouds in the morning, which should clear as the afternoon goes on.
On the coast, the wind is predicted to be moderate north-easterly in the north-east, and light, easterly breezes elsewhere, with moderate intervals along the rest of the coast.
Minimum temperatures of 21-22ºC on and near the coast, dropping to 16-17ºC in the interior.
Maximums are expected to be 30-31ºC, or 28-29ºC in a few areas of the coast and inland.
Sunday, September 7
Maximum and minumum teperatures for Sunday
Cloudy intervals with temperatures on the rise again, only slightly in the case of the minimums but more so for the maximums, particularly in certain places: 30-32ºC along the coast and increasing progressively inland to 34-36ºC.
Variable light wind with moderate intervals from the south-east on the coast and from the west inland.
