The Los Palacios Gardening keep Camposol A clean
The Los Palacios Gardening and Community Group are a legally registered group who give their time freely to improving their community and helping make it an even nicer place to live.
They meet every Monday at 8.30am on Camposol A ( Tel's, Cats or Oliver, location varies depending on work to be done that week) They do not meet in the hot summer months of July and August. They clean and sweep the streets and communal areas. They plant, weed and maintain gardens and the common areas of Los Palacios.
They do not act as a residents association or liaise with the council or any other authority on behalf of the residents.
Los Palacios Gardening and Community Group are totally voluntary and depend on contributions from residents and visitors. A big thank you to the book cabin ladies, who every Friday regardless of the weather turn up to ensure people can get a fresh supply of books to read. Pauline, Mandy, Lyn and Linda raise substantial funds to help ensure the group can continue to undertake new improvements to Los Palacios.
They have over 5000 books in stock, so please go along between 9.30-12.30 on Fridays and help support the gardening group.
The group are always on the look out for new volunteers.
