June 26 Soulift in a free concert to begin the 2026 San Javier Jazz Festival
A Madrid-based soul-funk-reggae band in the Plaza de España in San Javier
There could be no better way to kick off the 28th edition of Jazz San Javier than by presenting fans with a concert in Plaza de España by Soulift, whom many call “Madrid’s best-kept secret”! This fantastic band fuses soul, funk, and reggae in its own unique style with hints of gospel, and is composed of musicians from four countries and three continents: Nigeria, Cameroon, the United States, and Spain.
Wonderful voices led by the great Amos Obasohan, fantastic instrumentalists, and a hypnotic, powerful live performance make their concerts a shared celebration among the musicians and the audience.
