July 3 Cyrille Aimée and Ximo Tebar at the 2026 San Javier International Jazz Festival
The enchanting voice of Cyrille Aimée and one of the greatest Spanish jazz musicians ever on a double bill at the open-air auditorium of Parque Almansa in San Javier
TICKETS FOR THE 28th SAN JAVIER INTERNATIONAL JAZZ FESTIVAL ARE NOW ON SALE ONLINE HERE (both season tickets and individual concerts)
Cyrille Aimée, born in France to French-Dominican parents and grew up in Samois-sur-Seine, the adopted home of the great guitarist Django Reinhardt and now the venue of a leading festival in honour of the “Gypsy Prince of Swing”. That was where Cyrille fell in love with jazz, a genre to which she now brings her own unique blend of French melody and Dominican rhythm, a combination which has won her acclaim at the Montreux International and Sarah Vaughan vocalists competitions.
As we have already seen on her previous visit to San Javier in 2022, on stage her enchanting presence transmits the joy and optimism of life, and it is with great pleasure that she is welcomed back to the shore of the Mar Menor!
Line-up
Cyrille Aimée: vocals
Matteo Bortone: double bass
Yonatan Rosen: percussion

Ximo Tebar is with little doubt the greatest guitarist in the history of Spanish jazz, with a brilliant career behind him as an instrumentalist, composer, and teacher, during which he has played on numerous occasions with musicians such as Benny Golson, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Lou Bennett, Joey DeFrancesco, Johnny Griffin, Pedro Iturralde, Tete Montoliu, Lou Donaldson, Anthony Jackson, Mike Mossman, and Jan Ackerman.
His extensive discography includes the fantastic album “Live in Jazz San Javier,” recorded during his last visit to our festival in 2023 (when he was awarded the festival's Lifetime Achievement Award), and on this occasion Ximo presents his latest project with a new band, a collection of great musicians with whom he offers a reinterpretation of classic and modern jazz standards from the perspective of a truly brilliant guitarist.
