San Pedro del Pinatar Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.

Iglesia de la Asunción, La Torre de la Horadada
This is located in the coastal area of Torre de la Horadada
Apart from the main church in the centre of Pilar de la Horadada, in the rest of the municipality the the largest and best attended is the Iglesia de la Asunción in La Torre de la Horadada, on the Calle de la Virgen Asunción near the town centre. Inside the church is a sculpture of the Virgen de la Asunción by José Sánchez Lozano, the locally born artist who carried on the tradition of Francisco Salzillo in the twentieth century.
Hours of Mass:
In summer Mass is held Monday to Friday at 20.30, on Saturday at 19.00, 20.00 and 21.00 and on Sunday at 10.00, 19.00, 20.00 and 21.00. The winter timetable is in operation as of September, with Mass only on Sundays at 11.00.
Services are all in Spanish.
