Free beach yoga, pilates and dance fitness classes in San Pedro del Pinatar this summer
The sessions taking place on San Pedro’s beaches every weekday for the next two months are totally free to join
This July and August, San Pedro del Pinatar plays host to beach fitness classes that are free to attend for all people.
The activities take place on the beaches of:
- La Puntica (next to the disabled access point)
- Villananitos (in front of the Tourist Information Point)
- La Mota (next to the lifeguard station)
- El Mojón (on the promenade)
Activities include Pilates, Yoga, Aquagym and Dance Fitness. Participants are asked to bring a towel if taking part in the pilates or yoga; sports shoes and a cap if doing the dance fitness; and a swimming costume and water-safe shoes for the Aquagym.
Organisers say it is also a good idea to take a bottle of water and some sun cream. Each session lasts for about an hour.
All the activities are absolutely free, and there is no need to book in advance. Just turn up on the day and at the time stated below to join in.

These activities are taking place on weekdays throughout the months of July and August, with the exception of Wednesday July 16 and Friday August 15, which are both public holidays when there will be no classes.

The municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar has one principal tourist information office which is open throughout the year, and then other tourist information points which open during the peak summer months. Due to its location on the fringes of the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean coastline, San Pedro del Pinatar has a period of intense summer tourism activity during the peak summer months, although is popular with retirees of all nationalities out of peak season.
Much of the tourism activity is directed into these peak months, although the Salinas natural park and health tourism hotels in San Pedro del Pinatar make this a popular destination throughout the year.
