Camposol is already gearing up for Christmas

The lights and decorations will be going up in the community soon, and it’s time to start thinking about what Christmas presents you’re going to buy

As we draw towards the end of the year 2025, we look back at Camposol Today and reflect on the last few months. Camposol is a very large and busy urbanisation with so much going on.

There are a great deal of charities, volunteer gardening groups, free sports facilities and golf societies. Camposol can also boast about organisations such as FAST and MABS, making it the envy of many other urbanisations in the Region of Murcia.

Above all else, Camposol has a real community spirit, and at no time is that more true than at Christmas. There is something for everyone in Camposol at Christmas!

For many of us, Christmas in Spain is very different from the traditional Christmas celebrations we are used to in other parts of Europe, but on Camposol we have the opportunity to enjoy a blend of the old and the new, mixing the traditions we love from our old homes with the customs we have picked up here in our adopted home.

Many of the restaurants here offer a traditional Christmas roast with all the trimmings. These include establishments such as Piccolo’s or The Casa Club. For those of us who really just want something ‘different’ there is always Spice Villa or The Chinese, both open all day and evening.

Those of us who have been here for a few years always look forward to a trip to the beach on Christmas morning: as a rule, the weather is nice and that is a novelty some of us will never get used to (nor get bored of!). Many of the local bars and cafés are open for business on Christmas Day, and you often get a few free cakes or biscuits on Christmas morning.

So, what actually is Camposol Today?

Camposol Today is a website that falls under the umbrella of Spain Today Online. Many will know it as Murcia Today. It is very well established and has very high rankings on Google, having been going for over 15 years.
