Bikers big Mazarrón charity bash a big success
The Costa Cálida Cruisers Motorcycle Club raised €700 for charity
On November 2, the Costa Cálida Cruisers Motorcycle Club held their ninth annual Memorial Run at the Buena Vista café, Puerto de Mazarrón and raised a total of €700 in aid of the ‘Making a Difference’ charity.
The run is held every year to remind us of those bikers who have passed on, especially those who were instrumental in the founding of the club.
This year, more than fifty big bikes roared from Puerto de Mazarrón, over mountains and through villages in the campo before stopping at the Circuito de Cartegena for a break and a cuppa.
They then rode back to the Buena Vista, in the Puerto to enjoy an afternoon listening to excellent music from Los Duques, eating, drinking browsing the stalls and participating in the raffle.
Apart from the bikers, members of the public turn out to enjoy the event and at the end witnessed the presentation of €700 to representatives of the Making a Difference charity.
Until next year, when there’s sure to be an extra large bash for the 10th anniversary of the Cruisers’ Memorial Run!
