Aledo Town Hall and recommended parking for Aledo
The main viewing point in Aledo is at the top of the old town in the main plaza, in front of the church and the Torre del Homenaje, the keep of the former castle around which the old town was built. To access this, it is possible to drive straight up the street in front of the Town Hall, but this does involve negotiating the narrow streets of the old town, and then out of the back of the old town: this could be difficult for those who are uncomfortable with narrow streets!
It is easier to park further away, by the Town Hall, and then walk up to the plaza and tower. This takes around 5 minutes and sensible shoes (without heels) are recommended.
